Today we welcome two new Technical Account Managers to the Airangel fold.
Michael Pennington is a highly experienced, successful and accomplished technical services manager with background in applications, services, and product development. He has a proven record of helping major enterprises achieve competitive advantage in both the sale and management of IT and telecommunication services. Michael takes up the Technical Account Management role to support the Airangel Sales Team in pre-sales opportunities as well as managing an existing client base that includes DeVere Hotels, Hotel Du Vin, Malmaison, and The Ritz, London.
His career to date has spanned major UK ICT providers including KCOM, Azzuri, Verizon, and most recently, Nycomm.
Michael is joined by Mark Jones, a qualified Network Engineer with over 10 years of experience. Mark’s had a lead role at Aerelink Wireless UK, where he has held responsibility to design, plan, and configure the support of Wireless WANs using high speed microwave core and unlicensed last mile IP based radio connections, along with associated layer 2 and layer 3 devices. Working with global partners such as Cisco, Ruckus, and Alcatel.
Mark is highly experienced in the technical nuances of bespoke networks.
In his role as Technical Account Manager, Mark will support and advise on pre-sales technical opportunities, as well as managing a portfolio of existing customer’s that include Arnold Clark, Radisson Blu Hotels, Mercedes-Benz, and Harrogate’s International Conference Centre.
Mark and Michael join current Technical Account Managers, Ian Maynard and Tim Wye, enabling us to continue to meet and exceed current client demands and help to shape the way our customer’s control, personalise, and socialise their WiFi offering.
